The art department at a screen printing company in San Francisco
Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
Working with sales and integrated marketing teams to develop multi-platform pitches that stretch across digital, tablet, print, and events.
How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?
While in high school I took a graphic design class at The Art Center School of Design in Pasadena and I loved it as much as I loved architecture and urban spaces. I went to undergrad and pursued urban design but when it came time to think about grad school I finally went for it and studied Communication Design at Pratt.
In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
It isn’t hard, it’s EVERYWHERE! We are presented daily with so much content that I am constantly inspired to do something different.
If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?
My daughter and the birthday cards we design together for her parties!
