questionnaire
1. What was your very first job?
Tagging merchandise in the back of Target Store 003. I was clearly bound for a career in retail from the very beginning.
2. How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?
I’ve been a writer since a very young age (I wrote and illustrated a series of mysteries in first grade), and always knew that I wanted to be “creative,” whatever that might entail. I’m blessed that I’ve had an incredible career so far that has incorporated stints in copywriting, creative direction, art buying, new business development and creative operations.
3. In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
Small or large, I try to have an adventure every day.
4. If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry "success," what would it be?
No doubt: The 50 Women campaign for Ann Taylor’s 50th Anniversary. Beautiful, inspired, incredible images. (Plus I got to meet Twiggy.)
