Upon success of the SS 2016 campaign, Ghurka commissioned Daniela Federici to create an umbrella theme for their AW 2017 campaign. Daniela, as Creative Director, Photographer and Director, developed a campaign that included delivering a new brand ambassador that personifies the qualities of the Ghurka brand. She immediately called upon environmentalist Celine Cousteau, granddaughter of the famed Jacques Cousteau, who embodies Ghurka’s target demographic of “globetrotting adventurers,” by way of her many travels and humanitarian efforts. The campaign was shot on location at the Mohonk Preserve in upstate New York—it includes 20 still images, and various shorts including a brand video, interviews, and b-roll profiling Celine’s causes.
