17.01 Curandera Downtown Master
Bettina was born in Hildesheim, Germany. She was determined to become a photographer from a very young age, and after completing high school she left for Barcelona where she started photographing for the magazine V.O., and produced a hugely successful campaign for a Spanish fashion chain with just 4 rolls of film and 1 lens. In an unexpected turn, Bettina was presented an opportunity to become a beauty editor, which she accepted and held for 12 years. Despite her success in this role, she never let go of her love for photography and decided to return to it in 2001.
