A lifelong lover of innovation and industry, Benedict Redgrove is renowned for his clean, graphic, and sophisticated aesthetic. Redgrove’s award-winning career, spanning 20+ years, has been established through shooting global campaigns and editorials for major automotive and aeronautical companies, including BMW, Audi and Aston Martin. For the past few years, he has been shooting an ambitious project with NASA, which is scheduled to be complete in 2018. In this series for Hermès, Redgrove and his team got access to an undisclosed car factory while it was closed, allowing them free reign to explore and create. With his art director, Benjamin Grillon, and stylist, Aurelie Michaud, the group found chevrons, lines, markings, crates and machines that accentuated and even sometimes perfectly matched the classic accessories from Hermès.
