I Love You Cindy tells a day in the life of the 80's fashion icon, Cindy Crawford. Dancing along a small suburban street, shooting a soap opera in studio, being picked up by Mr Monster to take part in a fashion photoshoot and finally, when sun goes down, appearing as the fitness guru of all times - Cindy Crawford in all her 80's glory. The objective of the campaign I Love You Cindy is to promote the clothing brand Reserved and their collection with an aesthetic referring to the '80s. The task was to create a film which would refer to this aesthetic through set design, colours and usage of film. Keeping at the same time a modern convention that would be attractive to both the young and the brand's more mature customers. To reach this, during the casting, the team chose Cindy Crawford and Dacre Montgomery - an attractive, multi-generational icon of the '80s that would be recognisable by the brand's mature customers and a rising Hollywood star (Stranger Things, Power Rangers) recognisable by the younger viewers. The campaign is completed with an original soundtrack from the '80s - Situation, by Yaz(oo).
