Taking the industry by storm, Coco de Mer X was a creative collaboration between the legendary Walter Campbell, TBWA and a directing collective led by Rankin. Challenging perceptions of advertising and doing something very, very different, it spread like wildfire around the world. X is a true sensual feast, a thrilling rollercoaster of provocative imagery that is truly NSFW.

An icon transcends time and generations and always remains a timeless classic. This is what Award-winning film director, author, actor, photographer Wim Wenders wanted to convey in his film when he answered Persol’s, Publicis 133 & L’Ecurie invitation to give a new take on the legendary Cellor. The Golden Age of Italian Cinema represented by Cinecittà, the style of the Cellor and the direction of Wim Wenders combine to immortalize a modern tale set in the fifties.
We decided on Felix as he is a very successful model of his time and he has a witty, charming and boyish trait that is very special. He is not scared to break boundaries, ridicule himself or show us how his brain works ( his real inner self ), or just simply showcase how he reacts to what’s going on the world. In a time where everyone seems to be interested in “following” anything for a few “likes” (and sometimes just like blind sheep), it’s refreshing to see someone who simply doesn’t care to be mainstream.

A series of three images combines the destruction of these habitats with the animal whose home is being compromised. Through artful visual combination of land, human interaction, and the shape of the animal a message comes through without words. “We needed the audience to be aware of the situation, that how we have been treating the environment is making these animals disappear,” explains Post Rattanas of Illusion CGI. “Our part is to make this brutal visual look amazing and charming enough to catch viewer’s attention and communicate the idea.” Each process happens in a different location and affects a different animal.
