After leaving my path to study fashion design I started to work for my first boyfriend who had won a photography prize, and decided he wanted to plunge into this business!
A few years later I worked for a no. of other photographers in Düsseldorf, organizing their studios and shoots. Mid 70's I joined Peter Lindbergh and worked in his studio until he left for Paris, starting his international career.
This is when my time as an art buyer started - with the Agency Eggert, where I was employed for 5 wonderful fulfilling years. Time for a break - I left Germany for a 1,5 yr. trip through Europe and USA with my later to be husband - in a VW Camper - one of the best experiences in my/our life :-)
Back in the mid 80's we opened up our studio doing fashion and advertising photography, freelancing as a stylist and finally back in the art buying business. Since 2005 I have been working for Ogilvy & Mather Düsseldorf GmbH - and even if times have changed a lot, I still love this job!
