What was your very first job?
My very first job was a graphic design job for Multimedia CDs. They don’t exist anymore but basically they were internet in a CD.
Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
Problem Solving.
How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?
I am terrible in math, money business and lots of other things. I think coming up with ideas is the only thing for me. Creating musical ideas, what to eat tonight or an ad campaign is not different for me. Just creative solutions for different problems.
In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
I like to watch bad stuff. Bad films, bad commercials, bad documentaries, everything bad. There are a lot of good ideas in bad stuff. Just not well done.
If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?
I am very proud that I have written an extremely local Sinterklaas film for a brand we have in the agency. Working for local clients as an expat makes me happy.
