What was your very first job?
Delivering bread to people's homes, in the weekends. To get money for a school trip.
Please describe, in your own words, what your job is and what work it entails.
I look after the image of Bershka, ensuring brand alignment across all platforms. It includes creating campaigns, lookbooks, online & social media content, instore materials, and overseeing everything that involves or effects the brand image.
How did you discover that the creative world was right for you? Was there a time in your life that you credit to this discovery? What was there train of events that brought you to where you are today?
I think I was around 14 and I went to the school guidance office and found a brochure from an advertising school where they offered art directors courses. While reading the course description I realised that this was something I wanted to do.
In your constantly growing and expanding industry, how do you find inspiration to keep your work fresh, innovative and relevant?
I try to have an open mind, be aware of what is going on around me. Take time to break my normal routines, through travelling, visiting exhibitions and meet and collaborate with people to get different views and opinions on things.
If you had to pick one piece of work or project that you are most proud of, more for the creative work and innovation it required, rather than its recognition or industry “success,” what would it be?
My graduation project - A study on fashion photography.
