The Windmill Factory manufactures sublime experience where the audience is king. A brooklyn-based creative collective making interactive installations, performances, and events, Past TWF projects include choreographing NIN 2013 Festival Tour, building the Balloon Vortex, an interactive installation at MIT’s Media Lab & Red Bull and Reflecting the Stars, a recreation of the night sky in the Hudson River. Their work has been acclaimed by WIRED, Rolling Stone, SPIN, The New York Times and The Creators Project among others. Created for a 2015 Absolut Electrik ‘House Party’ in Los Angeles, CA, “Mondrian Moose” is an interactive LED dance a laser moose spectacle. People gather into the living room as the low smoke spreads throughout the party over the Mondrian carpet. Below the fog–the Mondrian carpet comes to life as sparkles of light increase to become lines which track and chase the people above. The DJ increases the beat, the dance floor fills and the LED lines increase in intensity. Pulses of light increase in speed from the center of the carpet and track towards a large moose where suddenly lasers shoot from its eyes across the room. Throughout the night guests can control the LEDs and laser from a custom ipad app.
