Grace Huang began her photography career when she picked up her first camera, a Pentax K1000, while studying at Harvard University. There she obtained a BA in Visual Environmental Studies under the tutelage of acclaimed fine art photographer, Christopher James. She continued her studies at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, through the award of a Rotary International Fellowship.
Settling in New York City, Grace launched her professional photographic career shooting everything from lifestyle to photo illustration and travel for a wide range of editorial clients. Her signature style of cinematic storytelling and naturalistic spontaneity evolved over the next two decades.
Today Grace lives in the West Village, balancing city life with her two children and an expanding and eclectic career shooting and directing fashion, lifestyle, and beauty globally. Some of her clients include Dove, Lord and Taylor, Avon, Starwood Hotels, Glamour Magazine, Marks and Spencer, Colgate, Jergens, Boots, Good Housekeeping, Duluth Trading Company, Esika, Cyzone, Prevention, and Tommy Hilfiger.
